James Beriker
Founder & CEO

James Beriker is a licensed attorney and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience leading global venture-backed technology companies. He has served as CEO of six ventures, each delivering enterprise software solutions to complex operational challenges, and has held leadership roles at Yahoo! and ValueClick. He was also an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at a leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm, has served as an independent director on several private and public company boards, and is an active angel investor.

Since 2021, James has focused on venture building in Saudi Arabia, helping design and launch a new venture studio and accelerator for TONOMUS (part of NEOM), and supporting the creation of 11 new KSA-focused technology ventures. He is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Pyxos, an AI-powered data privacy compliance platform incubated at the TONOMUS Venture Studio. Pyxos, based in Riyadh, provides services and technology to help enterprises and government entities achieve and sustain compliance with Saudi Arabia’s new Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

Anurag Sushant

Mr. Anurag is a seasoned data protection and privacy expert with experience across India, the Middle East, the EU, and the US. At Pyxos, he leads privacy-first solutions for organizations working to comply with evolving laws like KSA’s PDPL.

He has worked with clients across banking, telecom, IT, media, and more, and previously held senior roles at a multinational bank in MENA, KPMG Dubai, and Deloitte India. Mr. Anurag is certified in CIPP/E, CIPM, and ISO standards, and holds both an MBA in Privacy Management and a law degree. He has trained over 500 professionals globally and is known for his practical, business-focused approach to compliance.

Mr. Varun is an innovation and venture-building leader with global experience launching businesses and partnerships. As Head of Partnerships at Pyxos, he drives market expansion in the Middle East. At Mach49, he served as Entrepreneur in Residence, guiding corporate clients in building new tech-driven ventures. His expertise spans Generative AI, healthcare, PII data, and decarbonization, with leadership roles across APAC, the UK, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.

Previously, he led business development at Verimatrix and Greenwave Systems, managing APAC channels and driving growth in IoT and video security. Varun also co-founded GotoCamera, an IoT startup pioneering connected camera solutions. He holds an MBA from NMIMS and executive training from MIT Sloan, bringing hands-on market insight and an entrepreneurial approach to innovation.
